'Game Of Thrones' Season 6 Spoilers: Will Melisandre Resurrect Jon Snow? Will R+L=J Be Confirmed? Will Sansa Reunite With Her Brother?

A few days ago, HBO released its 2015 Yearender retrospective video which included footage from the much-awaited sixth season of "Game of Thrones," heightening - yet again - fans' anticipation for the show's return. Here are some of the rumors that have been swirling around about Season 6.

Will Jon Snow live?

Though the last scene of Season 5 showed Jon Snow (Kit Harington) bleeding out into the ground after being stabbed multiple times by his sworn brothers on the Night's Watch, fans have held on to the hope that the Lord Commander is still alive. With Melisandre (Carice von Houten) returning to Castle Black just before Jon was attacked, it is highly likely that the Red Priestess will revive Jon in the first episode of Season 6. As if to confirm this theory, HBO recently released the first official poster for Season 6, which shows Snow with a bloody face but very much alive and even upright.

Will the secret of Jon Snow's parentage finally be revealed?

Possibly the most hotly debated topic in "Game of Thrones," the real identities of Jon Snow's parents are yet to be revealed. Fans have long figured out that Ned Stark (Sean Bean) is not his real father and a popular fan theory, R+L=J, is practically "Game of Thrones" canon. Recently, YouTuber Robbie McD uploaded an 8-minute video proving that the "Game of Thrones" characters have been dropping hints to confirm R+L=J since Season 1.

Will Sansa escape the Boltons and reunite with Jon?

Earlier this year, Watchers on the Wall reported that Sophie Turner (who plays Sansa Stark) was seen on the "Game of Thrones" set in Northern Ireland, at a set where battle scenes between a resurrected Jon Snow, accompanied by Northerners, and the Boltons was being filmed.

The report suggests that Sansa has triumphed over her enemies and has somehow been reunited with her brother Jon, teaming up with him to fight her captors. There are also rumors suggesting that she will be leading the charge in this rumored battle - a scenario that seems to fit her younger sister Arya (Maisie Williams) more. However, there is always a possibility that what Sansa went through in Season 5, including having been raped by Ramsay Bolton (Iwan Rheon), may have toughened her up.
