Green Bay Packers News: A Look At the Packers' signings and releases

Just like any other team, the Green Bay Packers underwent a series of roster moves prior to the NFL's trade deadline this past week.

As far back as mid-October, a number of changes have already been made. According to the team's website Packers.com, the team signed 6'4", 252-pound tight end Mitchell Henry and released Blake Annen from the practice squad.

On Wednesday, the Packers also released their upcoming list of unrestricted free agents through the Milwaukee Wisconsin Journal Sentinel. According to the report, players such as Mike Daniels, B.J. Raji, Letroy Guion, Casey Hayward, Mike Neal, Nick Perry, Mason Crosby, James Jones, John Kuhn, Brett Goode, and James Starks have been named.

Reporter Rob Reischel described all players as "significant contributors to this year's 6-1 Packers".

For defensive end Mike Daniels, the uncertainty of being in a team's roster is the one thing he claims he learned after his NFL rookie year.

"In college you're with guys four years, five years, and now you've got guys that just aren't going to be with you when you show up in freaking April," Daniels said.

"I just need to play football, do my thing and it will work itself out," he added.

But for offensive tackle Bryan Bulaga, who signed to a new five-year deal with the Packers worth just below $7 million per year, the recent shake-ups in their line-up is nothing he is concerned about, as long as the team gets the job done.

"This is the season we're in right now and we're just trying to win right now," said Bulaga. "Even when I was free, I didn't even look past that. It was just about week in and week out, playing the best you could and helping your team win."

The Green Bay Packers will be facing the Carolina Panthers on Monday, November 9th, at the Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, North Carolina.
