Top 5 Jasmine Crockett controversies: 'Abusing her power'
1. Mocking paraplegic GOP Texas Gov. Greg Abbott: 'Governor Hot Wheels'
Crockett drew backlash earlier this year for mocking wheelchair-bound Republican Texas Gov. Greg Abbott as "Governor Hot Wheels" while railing against his immigration policies.
"You all know we got Governor Hot Wheels down there. Come on, now," Crockett quipped about Abbott during a Human Rights Campaign dinner last March in Los Angeles, California.
"And the only thing hot about him is that he is a hot-ass mess, honey."

Abbott has suffered from paraplegia since an oak tree fell on him during a jog in 1984, when he was 26. The tree crushed his vertebrae, which splintered into his spinal cord, broke his ribs and damaged his vital organs.
Crockett's mockery faced bipartisan backlash, including calls for censure and even expulsion. Trump responded by labeling Crockett a "lowlife" and "low-IQ person."
Crockett has also drawn scrutiny for what some have called an overtly "ghetto" accent when speaking to predominantly black audiences, despite using a more formal dialect when she has spoken on national television.
In another clip that went viral in September, Crockett railed against Christians using a dialect that included grammatical errors.
