Kristin Chenoweth is asking fans for their support through prayer after suffering unspecified health problems this week.

While the 46-year-old actress only hinted at the health issue, the star noted that she is "unable to move" with a tweet posted in the early morning hours of Monday, Aug. 4.

"Back in LA," Chenoweth wrote on Twitter. "Unable to move. Numbness and tingling in arm. Going to cedars dr tomorrow. Ah anyone who prays please do!"

Consequently, hundreds of Chenoweth's fans responded to the post with prayers and messages well wishes. The following day, the "Glee" star offered an update on her condition.

"Waiting on MRI results," she wrote. "No matter what I will be ok. Thanks everyone for praying and sending good vibes. #thinkingpositive."

It comes as no surprise that Chenoweth requested prayers in her time of struggle. The actress has cited her strong faith in the past, including during an interview with Parade magazine.

"I think it's important to remember that Christianity was based in love and tolerance and forgiveness and acceptance," she said. "I don't want Christianity to be a negative word anymore. I want people to understand that there is a group of Christians out there who want to me more open and understanding and tolerant and loving all kinds of people, even the people that don't believe in God at all. I guess that's one of my purposes in this life is to make sure people know that Jesus would have taught the same thing and did teach the same thing."

Meanwhile, Chenoweth's latest health scare arrives two years after sustaining a serious injury on the set of "The Good Wife" in July 2012. The actress was struck on the head by lighting equipment, causing a skull fracture as well as "a rib issue and a hip issue." At the time, Chenoweth explained that she would not be returning to the ABC drama.

"It is with deep regret to inform everyone that due to my injuries, I am unable to return to 'The Good Wife' at this time," she told Us Weekly. "I'm getting better slowly, and thank you everyone for your concern."

Chenoweth's health issues did not start there. The starlet recently revealed her focus on fitness that followed her diagnosis with both asthma and Meniere's disease, and inner ear disorder that can cause vertigo.

"All of us want to look great, it would be a lie if I didn't say that," Chenoweth told 'Women's Running' magazine. "But honestly, when I hit 40, it really became more about how I feel than how I look. When I'm 60, I want to feel 50. I want to be able to enjoy life."
