Miley Cyrus and Anorexia Battle: 'It's Not About Weight It's About Health'

Miley Cyrus has been accused of being anorexic after many noted that the former "Hanna Montana" star has lost a notable amount of weight.

In recent months, many fans have noticed that Cyrus has lost a fair amount of weight. The "Party in the U.S.A" singer has made previous comments about not living up to unrealistic standards, and criticized those who had scrutinized her weight in the past. Fans were thus taken by surprise when Cyrus tweeted a picture of a Carl's Jr. burger that she claimed she could not eat.

"I can't eat it. So I'm just gonna smell the ******* out of it! My mouth is LITERALLY watering," Cyrus tweeted over the weekend.

The tweet, paired with her recent weight loss, prompted many fans to suggest that the star had become anorexic and was refusing to eat food in order to keep her slim new figure. Cyrus however, has insisted that she is not anorexic and instead explained that she could not eat Carl's Jr. for health reasons.

"For everyone calling me anorexic I have a gluten and lactose allergy. It's not about weight it's about health. Gluten is crapppp anyway!" Cyrus tweeted the following day.

In November Cyrus faced criticism for having a fuller figure. Outraged by the comments, Cyrus posted a tweet of an anorexic women.

"By calling girls like me fat this is what you're doing to other people. i love MYSELF & if you could say the same," Cyrus wrote beneath the picture.

She later added a picture of Marilyn Monroe who was known for her full figure and curves.

"PROOF that you can be adored by thousands of men, even when your thighs touch," Cyrus added next to the picture on Monroe.
