'My Hero Academia' Season 2 Spoilers: The Fated Encounter of the Successors

The second season of "My Hero Academia" is down to its final episodes. Everything so far has led to this very moment, the highly-anticipated meeting between the protagonist and the antagonist.

In the final episodes of "My Hero Academia," otaku or anime enthusiasts should expect to witness the inevitable meeting between All Might's successor, Izuku Midoriya, and One For All's heir, Tomura Shigaraki.

The penultimate episode for the season is titled "Katsuki Bakugou: Origin." The final episode is titled "Encounter," which we can only assume refers to Midoriya and Shigaraki's fated meeting.

To recap the previous episodes, the students of UA High have been subjected to a practical exam administered by separate teachers.

In the upcoming episodes, both Bakugou and Midoriya are expected to face All Might in their practical test. They will come to understand that they are stronger as a unit. With this realization, the pair will pass their test with flying colors, impressing All Might at the same time.

Before they proceed to the next stage of training boot camp, Midoriya and his friends will drop by shopping where he will meet for the first time the heir of One For All.

As expected, their first encounter will not be a peaceful one. Shigaraki will confront Midoriya outside the mall, for all to see. He will grab him by the neck, urge him to calm down. The former wants to conduct his business and he wants the latter to hear him out. If he refuses, he threatens him with his disintegration quirk.

Shigaraki wants to know why after all his efforts he still lives under the shadow of Stain. He will appear in front of Midoriya to ask him that question.

With double the amount of episodes for the second season, "My Hero Academia" has been able to create more character development and more depth to its storyline.

The anime is expected to have a third season.
