NeNe Leakes 'Blindsided' By Cynthia Bailey Betrayal on Real Housewives of Atlanta

NeNe Leakes insists she was blindsided after fellow "Real Housewives of Atlanta" star Cynthia Bailey turned against her.

Bailey, the model and entrepreneur, had issues with Leakes' calling her husband a derogatory term. While it seems the ladies attempted to patch up their differences on their Bravo TV show, Bailey believes her friend has been disrespectful while Leakes thinks the model is not being a good friend.

"It's always the ones that are the closest to you that will turn on you! I was totally blindsided by all this," Leakes wrote on her personal blog. "Yes I called Peter the B-word in early October of last year and I have apologized numerous times for it! Cynthia and Peter accepted my apology and we simply moved on!"

She went on to detail how she and Bailey have had great times since the initial incident occurred.

"Yes moved on to talking, traveling and texting several times a day as we always did! The four of us went to dinner, Cynthia hosted my curvy girl Model Call at Bar One and Peter was there to help us out," Leakes revealed on her blog. "They were at the hospital with me, they spent Thanksgiving at my home, we celebrated the New Years together in Vegas, we were hanging out together during fashion week! She attended the Red Dress Heart Truth fashion show with me and Michael Costello's fashion show, we celebrated her birthday early in NYC with a fun brunch at Lavo!"

However, Leakes revealed why she felt offended by Bailey.

"When the episode aired for all to see and the Twitterverse had their say, I guess she changed her mind and decided she needed to be mad nearly six months later! WOW! Who gets mad six months later," Leakes questioned. "I know you tryin to pull the sympathy card but if you were such a good friend, why didn't you pull me aside and talk to me about how you were feeling instead of dicing our friendship up in front of a bunch of people who don't care! Surely I am worthy of that considering I have carried you on my back!"

Still, Leakes admitted she was hurt by the ending of the pair's friendship.

"I can admit when something hurts the same way I can apologize when I am wrong but hey who cares about a stupid friendship when you need to secure another season on the show," Leakes wrote. "The saddest thing about betrayal is that it never comes from the enemy!"

Bailey previously chastised Leakes' decision to go to social media to vent rather than her friend.

"If you say something about me, I'm not going to my blog and Twitter and address it. I'm going to say, 'Hey, NeNe. Let's talk.' You don't have to go on your blog and throw shade," Bailey told Leakes on "Real Housewives of Atlanta" reunion special. "I'm not just going to go ham and say all this crazy stuff and then call and be like, 'Hey, girl. I know I blowed your head off on the show, girl, but I'm sorry.'"
