PC(USA) Moderator Visits Union-PSCE's Seminary Program Students

Rick Ufford-Chase, who was recently elected as Moderator at the 216th General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church (USA), visited 40 students from Project Burning Bush on the campus of Union-PSCE on June 29th. Project Burning Bush is a seminary program that helps high school youth explore the call to ministry.

Ufford-Chase shared his own story of how he responded to God’s calling to serve as a missionary working with refugees along the Mexican border in Arizona.

"Get rid of your t.v.," said Ufford-Chase, addressing the group of students. "Don't fall for the false gospel the world sends you about what's real."
