Randy Jackson Owes $500,000 in Child Support: Reason He's After Michael's Money?

Randy Jackson, thought to be the ringleader of the plan to overthrow his brother Michael's executors in order to obtain his estate, currently owes $500,000 in back child support, reports state. It could be the reason why Jackson is so adamant about getting his hands on Michael's money.

"There's no reason why Randy should be so far behind on his child support payments," a source told RadarOnline.com. "He shouldn't be a deadbeat dad, but knowing how much Randy owes, along with all this crazy drama surrounding Michael's estate, there's definitely reason to question his motives regarding the estate and Michael's will."

Randy is currently in debt to the mother of his children, Alejandra Jackson. The couple has two children, Genevieve and Steven. He has not offered an explanation as to why he fell behind in the payments, but he and brother Jermaine- who also has children with Alejandra- are both behind in their payments.

"Marlon, Tito, and Jackie all hold Randy responsible for all of this," an insider told the site. "Randy is also getting advice from Howard Mann, who has been on the fringe for the last two years, trying to insert himself into the Jackson family. Howard is business partners with Katherine on several deals that Randy has supported and wanted her to do."

At stake is the multi-million dollar estate of the late superstar, which was meant for his three children: Paris, Prince Michael II, and Blanket. After Katherine, the children's legal guardian, went missing last week, a fight ensued within the family. TJ Jackson, son of Tito and the children's cousin, was granted custody by the court.

He worked quickly to prevent his aunt and uncles from entering the home Katherine and the children live in. Randy, Janet and Jermaine were removed from the approved guest list after last weeks' altercation.

"Let me just say this. This is not about money for us," Randy said in his defense during an appearance on MSNBC last week. His actions, however, seem to tell a different story.
