'Revenge' Season 3 Spoilers: 'Horrific' Deaths Will Shock Fans in Sunday's Finale

"Revenge" returns to ABC once last time for the season three finale this Sunday, entitled "Execution."

In the weeks leading up to the culmination of the third season, fans have speculated what measures Emily Thorne (Emily VanCamp) will take in order to avenge her father's death. While "Revenge" sources have already promised a riveting finale, new reports indicate that "Execution" will be "horrifying," complete with shocking deaths and betrayals.

According to one TV insider, the season finale of "Revenge" will see "handcuffs for one major character, toe tags for two others, the emergence of a new scheme team and a scene that's so horrifying, it will make Pascal's death-by-helicopter-blade seem mercifully tame by comparison," reported TV Line. Given the title of the episode, it also seems apparent how one death will occur. However, it remains unknown which characters will be killed.

A different insider warned that Emily will have a lot to handle in the season finale, which is sure to catch fans off-guard.

"Emily will receive the best and worst new of her life, while Victoria will make her biggest move against Emily yet," E! Online reported. "And if that's not enough, the show will manage to pull off its most shocking twist ever."

Also offering hints for the season closer, showrunner Sunil Nayar said the final episode this Sunday will feature "spectacular thing after spectacular thing happen in every act." Nayer also warned "Revenge" fans that the season finale would be a cliffhanger, and that viewers should pay special attention to the episode's final two scenes.

"It's going to be a totally different show next season- a reincarnation," he told TV Guide.

"Revenge" airs on ABC this Sunday, May 11 at 10 p.m. EST. The synopsis for "Execution" is as follows: "In the third-season finale, Emily and Victoria wage war on one another." The hit drama was just renewed for a fourth season by ABC this week.
