'Supergirl' Season 1 Episode 3 Spoilers: Supergirl Will Have to Fight One of Superman's Enemies

Kara Danvers/Supergirl (Melissa Benoist) is deemed to be a weaker target by Superman's foes, and one of them, Reactron, will target her in National City. The upcoming episode of "Supergirl" is titled "Fight or Flight."

Spoilers Guide posted a synopsis of "Supergirl" season 1 episode 3 and the summary reads, "Supergirl's powers are tested when Reactron, one of Superman's formidable enemies, arrives in National City and targets the young hero. Also, Cat plans to run an exposé on Supergirl."

According to The Futon Critic, Peter Facinelli, who played Carlisle Cullen on "The Twilight Saga," will guest star in the new episode, and will have a recurring role throughout the season of the show. Facinelli will play the tech mogul, Maxwell Lord, and DC Comics described the character as a very shrewd and powerful entrepreneur, who will have a huge influence on forming the "Justice League." No further details were released yet on how his character will interact with Kara on "Supergirl."

The website also listed the other guest stars on "Supergirl" next Monday, and they include Jenna Dewan-Tatum as Lucy Lane, Chris Browning as Ben Krull/Reactron, and Briana Venskus (Agent Vasquez).

"Fight or Flight" was written by Michael Grassi and Rachel Shukert, and was directed by Dermott Downs.

In the last episode, Kara asked James (Mehcad Brooks) and Winn's (Jeremy Jordan) assistance to help her hone her skills. The Department of Extra-Normal Operations, or DEO, also put Kara through a very intense training. Kara also had to fight an insect-like alien, Hellgrammite, but it was Alex (Chyler Leigh) who ultimately killed the alien escapee from Fort Rozz. On the other hand, James is pressured by Cat Grant (Callista Flockhart) to get an interview with "Supergirl." In the end, Kara agreed to do the interview to help James.
