1. Tacoma, Washington – Oct. 26, 2022

A group of counter protesters disrupted a Let Women Speak rally on Oct. 26, 2022, with police arresting one protestor for assault. British women’s rights campaigner and Standing for Women founder Kellie-Jay Keen led the event, which was intended to provide women a space to share their experiences with transgender ideology.

In an interview with The Daily Wire at the time, Keen said the Tacoma Police Department “failed to show up until the 23rd call for help.” She also added that a male activist assaulted one of the rally members, April Morrow, by grabbing the woman’s hand and crushing it in an attempt to steal her phone. Morrow sought medical attention, suspecting that the man might have broken her fingers. Police arrested the man after receiving footage of the assault.

The Christian Post reported on another 2022 Let Women Speak rally outside the Lincoln Memorial in Washington, D.C., where 15 LGBT rights activists drowned Keen out with sirens and bullhorns as she was speaking. The event was part of several stops Keen made as part of a nationwide speaking tour throughout the U.S.

“This is about letting women speak, not necessarily about large crowds. It’s not necessarily about the opposition we face, but those are always the stories to tell,” she told CP at the time. “It really is about creating a space in which women can speak so that they can talk about the things happening to them.”
