Grace Community Church in California was threatened with eviction from a parcel of land it uses as a parking lot for its continued defiance of Los Angeles County’s ban on indoor worship due to COVID-19.
The August notice from the county came after notices of possible arrest and fines for not complying with pandemic orders.

Pastor John MacArthur had reopened church doors in the summer to hold in-person worship services, arguing that “our Lord commands” that they gather and worship Him.
