This week, which marked the end of the first year of President Donald Trump's second term, was dominated by his high-profile trip to the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos, Switzerland, where he made several notable announcements and engagements on the international stage.

A key highlight during his time in Davos was the formal establishment of the Board of Peace, a Trump-led multinational initiative to oversee the reconstruction of Gaza. Trump also made moves regarding his desired acquisition of Greenland for the United States from the Kingdom of Denmark.

Domestically, the administration promoted pro-life policies amid National Sanctity of Human Life Day on Thursday, and Vice President JD Vance made an in-person appearance Friday at the related March for Life in Washington, D.C.

Another major event during the past week included the U.S. Department of Justice taking swift action against left-wing agitators who disrupted a church service amid the tense, ongoing U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) operations in Minnesota.

Here is a more detailed list of the top four stories regarding the Trump administration as it heads into its second year.
