It was another busy week in Washington that saw President Donald Trump vow an "Economic D-Day" on Iran and push for a future meeting with North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un.

The president also met with a lifeguard who saved a 10-year-old boy caught in heavy surf and floated future meetings with a recently freed Christian missionary held hostage for 10 months.

The administration also reached a settlement with Christian employers who sued the federal government over its inclusion of sexual orientation and gender identity in the definition of “sex.”

Here are five highlights from the past week.
