President Donald Trump experienced a week of political highs and lows, reshuffling key positions in his administration while facing setbacks on Capitol Hill and in the courts.

Trump nominated a new attorney general, appointed an acting director of National Intelligence and appeared to retreat from a controversial compensation fund.

Meanwhile, lawmakers voted to curb his authority to wage war with Iran, and the Kennedy Center moved to remove his name from the arts venue following a court ruling.
