Best Buy Cyber Monday Sale Offers $1,300 Off Popular Samsung 60-Inch HDTV

Best Buy Cyber Monday Sale Offers $1,300 Off Popular Samsung 60-Inch HDTV

The Cyber Monday sales at Best Buy are among some of the hottest deals available today, and the Samsung 60-inch Class LED Smart HDTV for only $1,497 is among the best.

The low price is almost half off the regular price for this popular unit, which has a 4 out of 5-star rating on Amazon and a 4.5-star rating on Best Buy. Among the favorable ratings, users praised the picture quality and, being a "Smart TV," also praised the easy connectability of the unit to cameras and computers.

As one user on Amazon described it: "The main selling point for me was the Connectshare. I was thinking of purchasing a digital media player a while back, but here it's already built-in and it's a very capable one indeed. Though, there's too many to list here, the TV's e-manual actually lists support for a dozen file types spanning several dozen video and audio codecs with bitrates as high as 30 Mbps for certain file types. It's played pretty much every thing I've thrown at it and handled any 'usb device' I've used so far, which includes NTFS formatted sata hard drives with external enclosure, no worries."

In addition to a USB port, a V-chip, and 30-watt speakers, the Samsung 60-inch TV also provides instant access to CinemaNow, Netflix, Pandora, Facebook, Twitter, and Flickr, making this a very entertainment and social-media friendly TV.

The vast majority of negative reviews for this TV were about manufacturing defects, such as backlighting problems and "white spots" appearing on the screen after a few weeks of use.

As is the case with any electronic product, these were most likely problems with the particular aspect of the device and not the product as a whole. Nonetheless, it is advisable that all potential purchasers of this unit review Best Buy's return policy and make sure that it is convenient enough in the event of a possible return.
