'Captain Marvel' News: Behind-the-Scenes Clip Show Brie Larson in Action

A new behind-the-scene video featuring Brie Larson in "Captain Marvel" has been revealed.

After last week's first-look photo featuring Carol Danvers aka Captain Marvel (played by Larson), an on-set video of the lead star in action has been revealed. Similar to what the previous images showed, Larson is not wearing the character's traditional red, blue and gold costume. Instead, the actress is wearing a green ensemble while filming.

The new footage also features Larson as she shares the scene with "Warcraft" actor Robert Kazinsky. His character seems to be bothering her, so she decides to take action and deals with the situation.

In the original comics, Danvers has ties to militaristic people known as the Kree. She got her powers after being in contact with the Psyche-Magnitron, a device that permanently changed her genetic structure. After becoming a half-Kree and half human, she encountered some issues as her body coped with its new abilities. She eventually controlled her powers and took on the name Ms. Marvel.

The Kree race is known for their white and green uniforms, which is the reason why Larson donned the same colors in the first look photos. However, since Captain Marvel's costume is red and blue, she will surely undergo a major costume change later in the film. Her costume is also expected to receive some minor tweaks for the big screen.

Concept art released earlier already revealed what Larson's new and final costume would look like. Fans may be able to get a glimpse of her red and blue threads in the coming months.

There have long been rumors about Danvers making an appearance in "The Avengers: Infinity War." Back when Marvel started issuing casting calls for the movie, Larson's name was included. The Russo brothers also hinted Captain Marvel's appearance in the movie accidentally, but Larson's recent filming schedule let to some confusion. However, she also filmed scenes in Atlanta, which could be related to "Infinity War."
