'Fate/Apocrypha' Episode 24 Spoilers: Has Shiro Already Won?

Servants and Masters have been losing their lives in their quest to stop Shirou from quite possibly destroying the world. And now that even the Ruler-class Servant Jeanne has fallen prey to the enemy's trap, can the battle to save humanity still be won?

Shakespeare's trap turned out to be an illusion that took advantage of Jeanne's past, even calling forth a Servant named Gilles, who used to be the Ruler's comrade. Gilles then went on to chastise Jeanne for her strong feelings for Sieg, even when it has always been her sworn cause to treat all humans equally.

Her old comrade also drilled it into Jeanne's head how it was her fault that Sieg ended up getting caught in the ongoing war, and how the boy was on a fast track to losing his life because of her. All of these words and the feelings of guild they incited in Jeanne ultimately caused the conflicted Ruler's mind to snap.

But could she really be out of commission? Or will Sieg's impending arrival be able to bring her back enough to take the final stage of the battle on together? Can Astolfo, who has been caught in a magical trap on the way to Jeanne, be able to free himself from this binding spell and catch up?

The battle is getting more intense, and with only two episodes left, things are only about to get much tougher. Who will ultimately win in the end?

On the other hand, what has happened to Shirou? Did he already make his wish, or has an unexpected event prevented him from bestowing his own kind of salvation to all of humanity? Is there still hope, or has Jeanne's faction been fighting for an already lost cause?

"Fate/Apocrypha" airs on Saturdays at midnight JST on Tokyo MX, BS 11, Gumma TV and Togi TV. It also airs on Tuesdays late night at 3:30 a.m. on MBS and streams in selected regions outside Japan via Netflix.
