'Flip or Flop' Star Tarek El Moussa Thought He Was Going to Die of Cancer

Going through a tough battle against cancer can be one of the toughest ordeals a person can experience, and Tarek El Moussa has been through not one, but two.

In an interview with Fox News, the "Flip or Flop" star shared that he already thought of the worst possible scenario when he learned about his condition. "I'll never forget the day when I found out I was also diagnosed with testicular cancer. The first thing I thought was I'm going to die and what is my family going to do?" said the 36-year-old El Moussa.

"That's how I dealt with it, but you know, the next day, I woke up and felt better and I tried to stay positive. I was just prepared to move forward and do whatever it is I needed to do to fight them and beat them," he added.

The report said that the TV host and realtor teamed up with Movember Foundation. The group aims to increase awareness of different aspects of men's health and promote early cancer detection. With the private nature of testicular cancer, which he faced a few years ago, El Moussa said that he was very open with his thyroid cancer; and when his stepfather was also diagnosed with testicular cancer, he felt the need to "create exposure, share my story and help save some lives."

Furthermore, he also said that facing and winning against cancer twice dramatically changed his life. He said that apart from prioritizing his children, he now pays closer attention to his health. He shared that he has been eating healthy, while doing cardio exercises and hot yoga, among others.

Meanwhile, El Moussa recently gave a bleak update on the condition of his friend and contractor, Frank "The Tank" Miller. "You know, he's not doing very well right now. He's not doing well. It's a big bummer," shared El Moussa in an Instagram post. According to El Moussa, the doctors said that Miller had been fighting different forms of cancer that are aggressive in nature.

He added that the treatments being given to Miller had made the latter swell up to 10 times.
