'Forza Motorsport 7' News: Update Fixes Issues on Xbox One and PC
A new update for "Forza Motorsport 7" has been released to address the issues that the game has with both the Xbox One and PC versions.
"Forza Motorsport 7" developer Turn 10 Studios and publisher Microsoft released an update to the recently launched racing video game to address several issues that surfaced from both the PC and Xbox One versions.
The patch, which was released last Tuesday, includes a fix for livery-related issues, such as the uniform not appearing in multiplayer mode. It also addressed the issue of liveries being applied as paint colors only, as well as game lock-ups when the uniforms are canceled.
Issues with vinyl not appearing in the vinyl editor when creating groups with the HDR enabled have also been fixed.
Aside from that, the Arabic text appearing in the game menu is no longer in reverse, the correct minimum appears on the benchmark mode on PC, and loading frame rate with G-Sync enabled has also been enhanced by the update.
According to Toms Hardware, users with an Nvidia GPU paired with a monitor will see an increase in frame rate with the G-Sync enabled because of the update. And because the benchmark mode has been fixed, players of "Forza Motorsport 7" should run new tests to recalibrate their stats.
The patch also enables players to install new livery sets without affecting the overall run of the game.
The update also worked on the default profile slider settings for players who use the wheel when playing "Forza Motorsport 7." The slider setting for the peripheral will not be maxed out, so players can easily adjust the wheel's performance during a game.
"Forza Motorsport 7" is the 10th installment in the Forza game series, a racing video game franchise that offers single and multiplayer modes. The game was officially released last Oct. 3, and it is now available on Xbox One and PC.
