'Hannibal' season 3 spoilers, plot news: Episode 12 gets Will Graham go on an offensive

It is apparent that Will Graham is starting to learn that the evil in his life, which is Hannibal Lecter, cannot be confined even when he is already imprisoned. Viewers also witnessed Hannibal control the people out in the free world, while he is behind bars.

In the latest episode of "Hannibal" season 3, Francis Dolarhyde, played by Richard Armitage, goes on a mission to kill Will's family. Giving in to his darker side more and more, he starts to have a self-conflict of whether or not to harm Reba, which later suddenly shifts to Dolarhyde stalking and breaking into Will and Molly's home. Despite wearing a mask with false teeth to look much more into a beast, Will knew who the man was. The murder attempt had ultimately been unsuccessful, but it doesn't seem that Hannibal failed into convincing Dolarhyde to finally go after Will. After all, ever since Will put Hannibal in a mental institution, Hannibal had seemed to exude a sense of feeling betrayed, after Will chose to leave him behind and start off a new life.

It's no surprise when it is said that Hannibal's influence can be likened to that of Lucifer, since the tactics they use have a remarkable resemblance. Hannibal's capability to slip under the radar by manipulating his patients' vulnerability, using it subconsciously to tap into their most murderous versions. He is able to cloak his own true evildoings with those of others.

According to IB Times, the next episode will feature a much more aggressive Will as he decides to ambush the Great Red Dragon. For the sake of his family's safety, he will team up with Jack, played by Laurence Fishburne, and the FBI to lure Dolarhyde into a trap before more dead bodies come forth. This will require him to, once again, tap into his skills of thinking like a killer, which of course worries many that this plan will finally lead Will astray. The upcoming episode promo shows Freddie Lounds, who is played by Lara Jean Chorostecki, telling Jack, "I've interviewed enough killers to know one when I see one. I see it every time I look at Will Graham."

Furthermore, episode 12, which is titled "The Number of the Beast is 666," may further press on to Will's murderous tendencies. The synopsis includes warnings from Bedelia, played by Gillian Anderson, that having empathy for Dolarhyde can cause further harm to his own psyche, while another scene from the promo shows Hannibal implying that someone with the same knowledge and access to the case can be helping Dolaryhde, which in this case is Will.

Fans will be eagerly waiting to find out if Will gives in to his believed-to-be "killer" self as Hannibal airs on NBC, Saturday at 10 p.m.. EDT.
