Lindsay Lohan Accused of Battery, Requests False Report Investigation

Lindsay Lohan has ordered an investigation into a false police report following accusations that charge the actress with battery.

Lohan has faced many tribulations in recent years, after DUI charges and multiple court sentences, including rehab and community service. However, after five years of being in and out of court rooms and failing to appease judges, Lohan was finally praised for getting her act together.

"You seem to be getting your life back on track! You're in the home stretch!" Judge Sautner recently told Lohan.

With Lohan determined to improve her lifestyle, it is no wonder that the actress has become upset over a report that accuses her of battery. The report was initially filed on Saturday for an incident that the accusers said took place on Thursday night at a Sunset Boulevard nightclub.

Lohan has insisted that she was not at the club and is now seeking a false report investigation.

"She was not there," Lohan publicist Steve Honig told CNN on Monday.

Some have reported that the allegations are suspicious because the police report was not filed immediately following the incident. In response, claims behind the allegations will be reviewed.

"Sgt. Chris Bowman said Monday that a detective has the battery report and would check the story's validity," CNN reported.

Lohan has otherwise appeared to live up to the judge's expectations. In March Lohan appeared on an episode of Saturday Night Live, and has two new gigs in line. The actress will play Elizabeth Taylor for the Lifetime Movie "Liz and Dick" and also has an upcoming guest appearance on "Glee."

Fans eager to see Lohan get her career back have also come forward in support of the actress.

"People, give the woman a rest. She is trying to put her life back together, and maybe so should you," Lillian wrote on the CNN blog.
