'Mortal Kombat XL' DLC: Medieval Pack, Apocalypse Pack, Mobile Unlocks, Skins Leak

Someone who had early access to "Mortal Kombat XL" promptly leaked its content, along with mobile unlockables and skins. However, just as quickly as the leak was released, it was immediately taken down by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment.

On Thursday, Feb. 11, a TestYourMight forum user shared that "some guy" uploaded a YouTube video showcasing an off-screen footage of "Mortal Kombat XL" content. As mentioned, the video was removed shortly after it was uploaded by a certain YouTube user named Alpha Lion, who claims to have installed "Mortal Kombat XL" ahead of its official launch. Fortunately, screenshots from the video were taken by another TestYourMight forum user, Gamer68.

The leak showed off new outfits for Cassie Cage and Jacqui Briggs. The leakster claims the skins are available through mobile unlocks. The footage also contained a sneak peek of a Krimson Ermac, which has been described as a "red clone of Gold Scorpion/Steel Blue Sub-Zero." Last but not least, the two new skin packs, the Medieval Pack and Apocalypse Pack, were also leaked. The Apocalypse Pack includes new costumes for Takeda, Erron Black, and D'Vorah. Meanwhile, the Medieval Pack contains new skins for Kung Jin, Khotal Khan, and the fighting duo Ferra and Tor.

Developer NetherRealm Studios previously announced the Medieval and Apocalypse skins packs as part of "Mortal Kombat XL." However, the developer did not provide any other information regarding these DLCs. The leaks, if true, provide the first look at what these expansion packs actually include. Without official confirmation, though, fans should temper their expectations on what the DLCs will include when they release next month.

"Mortal Kombat XL" includes "Mortal Kombat X" and all DLCs of the main game, including the upcoming Kombat Pack 2. "Mortal Kombat XL," along with the Kombat Pack 2, is slated to release on March 1.
