OnePlus 2 Vs. New Motorola Phones: Which New Smartphone Matches Your Needs?

Last week, two manufacturers announced new devices to cater to the Android market. However, while the Moto G (2015) is a notable device, it doesn't fit the bill in comparison to the higher-tier specs of the OnePlus 2. Another Motorola-made device is the Moto X Sport, though it is strictly in the midrange level as far as the manufacturer is concerned.

And so for today's comparison, it is the Moto X Style going head to head against the Oxygen OS-powered OnePlus 2.

The OnePlus 2 stays true to its predecessor in that the company tried its best to include the latest specs available. This includes the Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 chipset that also powers other high-end devices in the market today like the HTC One M9, the Xiaomi Mi Note Pro, and the Sony Xperia Z3+.

The device also boasts a 4GB RAM that will definitely make multi-tasking a treat for heavy Android users. There also lies a rather low-end 13MP primary camera, although there is a laser auto-focus that is a treat for cameraphone enthusiasts on the go. The OP 2 has a 5MP front snapper for selfies.

One downside of the phone is that it kept the Full HD (1920 x 1080) resolution of its predecessor, while increasing display size to 5.5 inches. This makes the overall pixel density lower than the OnePlus One.

Motorola Moto X Style

Motorola kept its check list, and actually followed it. As a result, the Moto X Style spec sheet is a sight to behold. The device rocks a 5.7-inch display with QHD or 2K (2560 x 1440) resolution, a slightly lower 3GB RAM, and hexa-core Snapdragon 808 chipset.

Like previous Moto handsets, this device can be customized via the Moto Maker. Another category where it shines is the camera, where it packs a 20.7MP shooter at the back, while a 5MP selfie shooter is located in front.

Unfortunately for both devices, availability details have not been revealed just yet.
