Liberty University President Jerry Falwell Jr. says he’s taking legal action against leakers who sent several dozen emails to the press showing that he disparaged students and staff in emails to administrators on multiple occasions since he became president of the university in 2008.

In one of the emails, he describes a student as “emotionally imbalanced and physically retarded.”

Falwell has confirmed that the email disclosures were authentic. He told Hill.TV on Tuesday that he is now sharing information with the FBI to investigate what he calls a criminal conspiracy against him by former board members who leaked internal Liberty University emails to the press.

— BBC teaching kids 100 genders exist, can go to prison for 'disrespecting' gender identities

A BBC resource is teaching children that more than 100 gender identities exist. The series of short films titled "The Big Talk" were produced by BBC Teach for use with children ages 9 to 12. The films shows adults answering children’s questions about sex, relationships and gender.

In a short film titled "Respecting Myself and Others," a teacher tells the children that “people can go to prison if it’s shown they’re disrespecting or being hateful to people because of a difference that person perceives.”

The Royal College of General Practitioners recognizes six genders in addition to male and female, which include: "gender-neutral," "nonbinary," "gender-fluid," and "gender-queer."

— Chinese pastors ordered to base sermons on book comparing Bible to Confucianism

China’s Religious Affairs Bureau has ordered clergy affiliated with the state-sanctioned protestant church to base their sermons on a new book that blends biblical teachings with Confucian theory. The book is titled, The Analects Encounter the Bible.

The Chinese human rights magazine Bitter Winter reports that clergy affiliated with the Three-Self Patriotic Movement in the Henan province city of Yuzhou were ordered in July to begin teaching the Bible through the lens of Chinese culture as part of the Chinese Communist Party’s efforts to “sinicize” Christianity

College 'hate speech' policies 'parallel' blasphemy laws in Pakistan

A Muslim lawyer is warning that hate speech policies instituted at college campuses in the United States are having similar psychological effects on students that anti-blasphemy laws in Pakistan have on citizens who incite mob violence.

In a number of cases, students have been suspended or punished for voicing their religious beliefs in class on issues such as Islam and sexual morality. Some colleges have also restricted free speech on campuses to administratively selected “free speech zones.”

In Pakistan, mob violence has been known to ensue after allegations have been made against Christians and religious minorities. In the U.S., mobs of protesters have formed on college campuses to oppose conservative scholars invited to speak on campus. At Middlebury College in Vermont, a professor had to be transported to the hospital after she was assaulted by an angry student mob while escorting a conservative scholar who had been invited to speak there in 2017.
