Pam Tebow
Pam Tebow, mother of former NFL Denver Broncos quarterback Tim Tebow, recounted her experiences being pregnant with her son.
Echoing the March for Life's theme of "Love Saves Lives," Tebow told those gathered that "love saved the life of our son."
She talked about how her pregnancy with Tim was a hard one, noting that there was "profuse bleeding and cramping" and that at one point a doctor told her that she needed to abort him.
"Because of our love for the life of the womb, we chose to trust God and refused to have an abortion," said Tebow, saying in response to applause that "this is God's story and He deserves to get all the credit."
"When Timmy entered the world, he said, 'this is a miracle baby.' He said 'I've never witnessed such a miracle because only a tiny piece of the placenta was attached.'"
Tebow noted that her newborn son was malnourished, so she asked her friends and family to pray for him to "grow big and strong," which she lightly noted that "if you've seen him lately, you know God answers prayers."
