In her videos and messages, Krick encourages people to "sow a seed" — a common phrase in prosperity gospel circles that often implies financial giving is necessary for receiving blessings or deliverance.

Krick's critics have argued this contradicts Jesus' command in Matthew 10:8: "Freely you have received; freely give,” and warned that soliciting funds raises ethical questions, especially when linked to promises of healing and deliverance.

Evangelist Shane Winnings publicly denounced her financial practices, calling them "predatory behavior," emphasizing that spiritual gifts should never be for sale.

“I've been with Kathryn in person. I don't believe she actually knows how to teach the Bible. Everything she does is to set up the ask. It's very salesy,” he claimed. “This isn’t biblical.”
