Megachurch Pastor Adam Hamilton releases campaign platform: Pro-choice, anti-tariff
United Methodist Church Pastor Adam Hamilton recently launched his campaign for U.S. Senate, and this week listed four campaign issues he's taking a stand on.
The senior pastor of Resurrection Church in Leawood, Kansas, one of the largest UMC congregations in the world, Hamilton launched his campaign last month, describing himself as an “independent-minded Democrat” who is “dedicated to leading from the center.”
Hamilton decided to run as a Democrat and announced on Facebook his stances on four major policy issues. These included being pro-choice on abortion, critical of tariffs and supporting either term or age limits for members of Congress.
