'We will miss you down here': Christian artists react to Dolly Parton's death at 80

1. For KING & COUNTRY

Christian pop duo for KING & COUNTRY, who collaborated with Parton on their Grammy-winning rendition of “God Only Knows,” remembered her kindness and the love she showed others.

“Rest in peace, dear Dolly. Your love for us was so unexpected, and your kindness and love for the world was extraordinary,” brothers Joel and Luke Smallbone wrote. “We will all miss you greatly.”

Parton joined the duo for a new version of “God Only Knows” in 2019, a collaboration that earned the artists a Grammy Award for best contemporary Christian music performance/song.
