The FBI shot Craig Robertson, 75, while attempting to arrest him at his Provo, Utah, home over threats made to President Joe Biden and other elected officials on social media. The social media posts in question were outlined in a criminal complaint published on Aug. 8, one day before his death. 

While the FBI maintains that their shooting of Robertson was justified because he pointed a gun at them, those closest to Robertson are pushing back on claims that he posed a danger to the public. Here are five things to know about Craig Robertson.
