Michael Cormier Death Spurs Breitbart Conspiracy Theories

With the passing of Michael Cormier, a person involved with the autopsy of conservative blogger Andrew Breitbart, new conspiracy theorists are stating that his death is not just a coincidence.

Cormier was a Los Angeles County forensic technician and died on April 20, which also happened to be the day that Breitbart's autopsy report was released.

Initial reports indicated that a foreign substance was found in Cormier's system, but that it does not prove that he was intentionally poisoned.

Anonymous sources within law enforcement explained that finding the presence of poison does not necessarily mean the death was a homicide because the substance could have accidentally entered his system.

According to sources, arsenic was one poison being considered as a possible cause of death but furthered stated that no official determination has yet to be made.

"At this point we haven't ruled out foul play," said Lt. Alan Hamilton of the Los Angeles Police Department. "It is one of the things being considered. We are waiting for the coroner's results."

The L.A. County coroner's office revealed on April 20 that Breitbart had died of heart failure stemming from coronary disease. According to the coroner's office, traces of alcohol were found in the bloggers system, but "no prescription or illicit drugs were detected."

His death came a few weeks after he had told an audience at a CPAC rally that he had several video tapes of President Obama while he was in college. Breitbart claimed that the tapes would incriminate the President.

"I've got videos ... from his college days, to show you why racial division and class warfare are central to what 'hope' and 'change' was sold in 2008," Breitbart said at the rally. "The rest of us slept while they plotted, and they plotted, and they plotted."

Officials explained that Cormier's toxicology report will be ready in four to six weeks.
