Ryan Reynolds Wants A Big Family With Blake Lively

Ryan Reynolds opened up about his future plans for a family, shunning the idea that having a big family is "crazy."

The actor married "Gossip Girl" star Blake Lively on Sept. 8th last year during a ceremony at Boone Hall Plantation in Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina.

After revealing that both he and his wife have multiple siblings, Reynolds said that he would "love to have a big family" while speaking to the latest issue of Details Magazine.

"A lot of people say it's crazy, but we'll only know when we're there, you know," the 36-year-old actor explained.

Alternately, Lively has also admitted to wanting several children during an interview last October with Allure Magazine last year.

"I've always wanted a big family," said the now 25-year-old actress. "I'd love 30 if I could."

Meanwhile, Reynolds continued to discuss having children, admitting that he is "terrified" of having all boys because of his own male-dominated family.

"I'm terrified that I'm genetically predisposed to only having boys," said the actor who has three older brothers. "There's nothing my brothers and I didn't put a hole in. We turned our home into a Wiffle house."

Regardless of what the future holds for the couple, Reynolds explained why he prefers not to discuss his relationship with his wife publicly.

"If you ask me to describe my relationship, I mean- words are too clumsy to accurately describe how I feel in that regard, particularly in an interview," said the "Green Hornet" star.

"I understand the climate we live in and why people are curious," he added, according to Details Magazine. "But it's just tough and almost emotionally violent- for anyone, I think- to see your personal life summarized in a sentence."

Today, Reynolds is preparing for the premiere of his latest film "Turbo," a DreamWorks animated film that hits theaters on July 17. Watch the trailer here.
