Shawn Ryan, Tucker Carlson discuss Satan, UFOs, revival: ‘All this stuff is spiritual’
4. 'Huge wave': Cultural shift toward revival
Ryan said he “absolutely” believes the U.S. is, as Carlson said, “in the middle of some kind of Christian revival.”
“I mean, have you seen the baptism parties that are going on at colleges that look like it's a kegger crazy tailgate party, and they're baptizing people in the back of trucks?”
“Yeah, I think there's a huge wave going on,” Ryan added.
Ryan was apparently referencing some of the revivals that have broken out in recent years at various colleges, such as Asbury University in Wilmore, Kentucky, and Auburn University in Auburn, Alabama.
Carlson, like Ryan, has also become more outspokenly religious in recent years, noting to Rogan last year that many in his generation, who had a similar secular upbringing like him in California, are beginning to seek out God.
Carlson told The Christian Post last October that he was “physically mauled” by a demon on Feb. 20, 2023, exactly 60 days before his last show on Fox News, after which he was unceremoniously fired from the cable news network without explanation.
His ousting came three days after his speech at The Heritage Foundation's 50th anniversary gala, during which he framed the country’s political battles in spiritual terms of good versus evil.
