Shawn Ryan, Tucker Carlson discuss Satan, UFOs, revival: ‘All this stuff is spiritual’
1. ‘Satan runs the world’
Ryan explained that during his faith journey, he learned that much of the prevailing cultural narrative is based on lies, which prompted Carlson to note that Satan wields immense power in this world.
Ryan presented the government’s COVID-19 narrative, former President Joe Biden’s covered-up mental decline and the Epstein scandal as examples of high-level lies that have destroyed public trust. He noted that he sees it as his job to expose the lies when he can.
Ryan, a former CIA contractor, also claimed the federal agency attempts to use podcasts to control the national narrative, sometimes by injecting even one idea into an hours-long episode. He said he tries to use his platform to glorify God and tell the truth.
“I lean into God, and I really just consider myself kind of a conduit … whatever comes to me is supposed to happen,” he said.
“I'm pretty new at this. I haven't completed the Bible or anything, but the more that I dig into just everything in the world … I just think that everything, everything is a lie; everything. I think it's all a lie. And then it's partially my job to expose what I know and to bring some type of truth.”
Ryan, whose YouTube channel has more than 4.4 million subscribers, said he has come to understand that “everybody is out for themselves, and it sucks; it sucks to see that and to know it.”
Carlson suggested the New Testament indicates as much, and asked if “we're just dumb and naive if we thought anything other than that.”
Ryan noted that Jesus claimed to be the truth, and Carlson cut in, “Yeah, and Satan runs the world, by the way.”
