'Supergirl' Season 1 Episode 2 Spoilers: New Highlight Reel Features Lucy Lane, Red Tornado, and Kara's Aunt

There'll be a lot to take in when the new episode of CBS' superhero drama TV series, "Supergirl," premieres this week.

Citing the synopsis provided over at ComicBookMovie.com for the episode titled "Stronger Together," it says that Kara must set aside the doubts she feels as Supergirl when a new threat arrives at National City. As indicated, another escapee from the Kryptonian prison, Fort Rozz, will wreak havoc on the earthlings and only Kara can put a stop to it.

The promo for the episode shared over at YouTube reveals a lot of exciting events that await fans of the series. For one, there's a scene which suggests that Cat might have finally gotten the interview with Supergirl. However, it seems like the media magnate wasn't impressed with what the superhero told her.

"I feel like I've heard this story before," Cat said as she sighed audibly.

The trailer further featured Superman's cousin going out and about saving people and doing heroic feats that only she could do like putting out a fire by just blowing into it.

The highlight reel also sees Kara meeting a handful of people. One of them is Lucy Lane. James Olsen was quite impressed to find out that Lois Lane's sister is interested in finding out more about Supergirl.

The video also showed James and Kara attending what appears to be a party held in honor for the superhero. However, scenes escalate when an armored person, assumed to be one of the Fort Rozz prisoners, crashes into the party and calls out for Supergirl.

Adding more pressure is the arrival of her aunt whom she calls in the video as "Aunt Astra." The latter turns out to be a force that is too much for the young woman to handle. During the pilot, it was revealed that the aunt is bent on killing Kara. Will Kara be able to hold off against all the enemies that are coming towards the city?

Find out how these events unfold when "Supergirl" airs this Monday, Nov. 2, on CBS.
