Taylor Swift on Las Vegas Shooting: Singer Sends Flowers to Police Department, Voices Heartfelt Message for Victims

Taylor Swift sent flowers to one of the stations of the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) after one of their own fell victim to the mass shooting last Monday. Meanwhile, she also sent out a heartfelt message to those who were affected by the tragic event.

The "Look What You Made Me Do" singer-songwriter sent several bouquets of flowers to the LAPD's Foothill Community Police Station in Pacoima, California, after learning that one of their officers took a hit from the mass shooting at the Route 91 Harvest Festival.

LAPD Intel Analyst Kimberlee Binder shared a snap of the bouquet T-swift sent on Instagram along with a thank you message.

"Talk about a class act! @taylorswift sent multiple bouquets of flowers and plants to our station, as one of our officers was shot in Las Vegas last night. This is one of the smaller arrangements. Beautiful flowers can bring a smile to anyone's face. Much respect," her post reads.

Swift's dedicatory flowers were for one of Foothill's female officers who was shot while attending the Route 91 Harvest Festival as a civilian, according to a Facebook post from the Foothill Community Police Station account.

"Several off-duty LAPD employees travelled to Las Vegas to enjoy the festival and we have confirmed that one officer was struck by gunfire during the shooting," the statement read. They also added that the injured female officer is expected to be on her way to recovery anytime soon.

Meanwhile, the "Shake It Off" singer also sent out a message to all the people who fell victim to the Las Vegas mass shooting triggered by Stephen Craig Paddock from his room at the 32nd floor of the Las Vegas Mandalay Bay hotel.

"There are no words to express the helplessness and sorrow my broken heart feels for the victims in Vegas and their families," Swift said in a post last Monday.
