'The Bachelor 2016' Plot News: The Winner Revealed

Even with the upcoming season of "The Bachelor 2016" not hitting the small screen until the beginning of next year, the winner of the season has already been revealed.

It was revealed that Ben Higgins is currently going through his overnight dates. With that, it can be assumed that there are only three girls remaining in the competition. Since the final rose ceremony is soon approaching, there has been news on who exactly Ben will be picking as his happily ever after.

With the show currently filming in Sandals Royal Plantation Resort, Jamaica, it was said that Ben and Caila experienced a fireworks show during the overnight date. They also went swimming before having a romantic dinner on the beach. However, the other girls, Lauren Bushnell and JoJo Fletcher, are only still preparing for the filming of their overnight dates.

The final rose ceremony is expected to be filmed on Nov. 18, which will also take place in Jamaica. With that, reports for Reality Steve stated that Lauren Bushnell will be the winner for the upcoming season. However, there is skepticism about the reliability of the news since Reality Steve has been known to be incorrect with his guess last season.

According to Reality Steve, Higgins had already decided to propose to Lauren Bushnell several weeks prior to the overnight date. It was revealed that he is merely doing the rest of the episode just because it's expected of him. He stated, "This season has essentially been over since about halfway through. Ben has been pretty clear about wanting Lauren [Bushnell] in the end, so much so that it's apparently become obvious to the rest of the group… they've all kinda seen the writing on the wall from what I hear."

With that, there are also rumors regarding who from the girls will be taking on the role of "The Bachelorette 2016." It was revealed that JoJo Fletcher will be cast for the next season.

"The Bachelor 2016" is expected to air on ABC on Jan. 4, 2016.
