This week marks the anniversary of when the Old Fashioned Revival Hour, a fundamentalist Christian radio program headed by Baptist minister Charles E. Fuller, first aired.

The broadcast started in a Hollywood, California studio and aired on the 13 stations connected to the Mutual Network. By the 1950s, it was being heard on the ABC radio network and its 650 radio stations.

“Dr. Fuller’s last broadcast was December of 1968, and he went home to be with the Lord that same year,” explained the site Biblebelievers.com.

“While the Old Fashioned Revival Hour Broadcasts have ended, their tremendous appeal continues to this day.”
