Trump's week in review: Cuts TPS status for South Sudan; Nigerian pres. responds to threat over Christian persecution

2. Trump, RFK Jr. work to help Scott Adams

Scott Adams, the author, social commentator and cartoonist who created “Dilbert,” announced on X his plans to “ask President Trump, via X, to save my life."

Adams added, "He offered to help me if I needed it. I need it.”

The world-renowned cartoonist and public speaker announced earlier this year that he has “metastasized prostate cancer” and that his healthcare provider has given him the green light to receive a drug recently approved by the Food and Drug Administration.

He lamented that his healthcare provider has “dropped the ball in scheduling the brief IV to administer it and I can’t seem to fix that.” Stressing that he was “declining fast,” Adams indicated that he intended to ask Trump to schedule his IV for Monday: “It is not a cure, but it does give good results to many people.”

Trump shared Adams’ X post in a Truth Social post last Sunday, assuring him that he was “On it!”

U.S. Secretary of Health and Human Services Robert F. Kennedy Jr. responded to Adams’ X post by informing him that “the President wants to help” and asked, “How do I reach you?” Adams provided an update Monday, informing his followers that he was “getting Pluvicto (the cancer drug) tomorrow, via Kaiser Northern California.”

“The Trump administration works fast,” he added. “For context, I waited months for the drug, like everyone else. But I think my files got misplaced or something and that glitch just got corrected. Not sure.”
