'We Bled, Sweat, Cried and Cussed,' Says Pastor Jamal Bryant After Unity Meeting With PFK Boom

In a meeting where "we bled, sweat, cried and cussed," Pastor Jamal Bryant of Baltimore's Empowerment Temple church revealed Thursday that he has settled differences with grassroots activist PFK Boom and his "300 Gangstas" organization after an altercation last week in which he was chased off a Baltimore Street by Boom.

He made the revelation during a Periscope session Thursday featuring Boom whose real name is Davon Neverdon and Robert Wolfe, also known as Big Wolfe. Neverdon and Wolfe are co-founders of 300 Gangstas, an organization that seeks to reach the most dangerous people in the city of Baltimore.

"One week ago, we were just 3 miles away from here right outside of Gilmore Homes and brother PFK Boom and I had an altercation and we came together today as men, saying that we had a responsibility for a whole other generation that's coming behind us on how do you resolve your differences," explained Bryant in the session.

"We do not agree on everything, we do not share the same belief on everything. What we do know is that we are stronger together than we are separated," he added.

Bryant then allowed Neverdon to speak and he explained that he now realizes how much of an impact public feuds can have on the community, and that the decision to meet and settle differences with Bryant is a sacrifice for the city.

"When you make a decision, good or bad, you see that it affects a lot of people. As of last Wednesday, PFK nations and many other nations and of course '300 Gangstas' and us seen the negative effect that not only affect us personally, but it was affecting our community of Baltimore City," he said.

In introducing Wolfe to the conversation, Bryant described him as "the mayor of this city" even though "he wasn't on the ballot," and even quipped that Wolf was "trying to kill me."

"I'm appreciative for him, he done gave me a new lease on life. We are one family today. I want you to all know this is not smoke and mirrors for the camera but we bled, sweat, cried and cussed in this meeting today. But we understand it's greater than any of us as individuals," Bryant said of meeting with Wolfe who then explained that he had been harboring longstanding feelings of resentment against the controversial preacher.

"I had a situation with Jamal Bryant for years, a personal situation. But I've grown up right now, you feel me? So we had this meeting right now. ... It's all love. He's my brother now. I know for a fact that people see this they [think] … the world's coming to an end," he said.

"At the end of the day, we're here for the betterment of the next generation. If you're not with that, then you're not with us," he ended.

Neverdon was captured in a now viral video posted on YouTube [WARNING: Video contains vulgar language] last week telling Bryant to take his henchmen and get out of Baltimore. The incident took place during the 148th staging of a weekly event called West Wednesday, organized by the family of Tyrone West, who died in a struggle with police officers during a traffic stop in July 2013.

"I know you can take your henchmen … get the henchmen, don't come down here no more. Boom said it. Me as a man. The streets don't want you here," shouted Neverdon at Bryant, as the Baltimore minister meekly agreed to the demand.

"Don't bring your a** down here no f****ing more. I mean it yo. On my f***ing kids yo. You's a f****ing disgrace. A guardian angel…? For who? Cause you damn sure ain't guarding me…," said Neverdon, further mocking a T-shirt Bryant was wearing with the words "Guardian Angel" printed on it during the encounter.

"Get the f**k up outta here. F****ing clown," he finally slammed the pastor as he turned around and walked away with the words EMPOWER blaring from the back of his T-shirt.
