'The Elder Scrolls Legends' Getting Closer to Showing, Bethesda Says

Fans of the upcoming "The Elder Scrolls Legends" might finally hear and see more of Bethesda's collectible card game soon. The company has said that it's "getting closer" to revealing the game but it's not there just yet.

The information comes from Pete Hines, vice president of PR and marketing at Bethesda. On Monday, Hines was teased by a fan to provide some details about the game, saying further that he'll spend his money on competitor Blizzard Entertainment's "Hearthstone" instead if denied such information.

"I have $1000 I'm about to spend on Hearthstone but if you show us some TES Legends I might change my mind," said Jakovich Kosnitznov on Twitter.

However, Hines wasn't easily provoked and got back at the fan with the following response:
"Yeah, i don't really go for that. We're getting closer to talking about it and showing the game but not there yet."

"The Elder Scrolls Legends" was announced during E3 2015 where a press conference was held for the introduction of "Fallout 4." The teaser trailer can be viewed below. Aside from that, Bethesda has not debuted any other footage since the announcement. It did, however, release some concept artwork showcasing the races that will be featured in the free-to-play game. These include Khajiit, Orcs, Elves, Ghouls, and Nords.

The game will be launched on mobile devices and PC. It was initially planned for a 2015 release but has since been moved to 2016. The company said then that the delay would provide the team working on the game with more time to polish it and get it ready for its debut.

Meanwhile, "The Elder Scrolls Legends" rival, "Hearthstone," is showing more and more cards from its latest expansion, Whispers of the Old Gods. The new DLC is expected to arrive in April or May.
