Archbishop Joseph D'Souza, who leads the Anglican Church of the Good Shepherd in India and serves as the president of the All India Christian Council, mourned the passing of Dobson in a statement shared with The Christian Post.

D'Souza praised Dobson as "one of the world's greatest voices on behalf of Christian marriage and family."

"Through Focus on the Family and later the Dr. James Dobson Family Institute, he guided countless parents and families through some of this life's most difficult questions. His conviction and commitment to the gospel will be felt and deeply missed all over the world, including in Asia."
