“The incredible family left behind by former President George H.W. Bush is a testament enough to how remarkable and honorable his life truly was,” said Jeremiah, senior pastor of Shadow Mountain Community Church in El Cajon, California, in a statement shared with CP.

“He was a brave war hero, a gifted diplomat and a president our nation can be proud of. His faith was strong and his dedication to his country will be remembered for generations. The humility that anchored him could be seen in every step he took, and his unfailing kindness should be admired. I’m praying for his loving family in the days ahead and I’m also praying that his selfless life of service will be imitated across this nation and around the world.”
