Jessica Simpson Spending Thanksgiving in Boston

Jessica Simpson, her fiancé Eric Johnson and their two children are among the millions of people celebrating Thanksgiving this week.

Like many other Americans, the famous designer is traveling to visit family for the special holiday. This year, Simpson is spending Thanksgiving with her future in-laws.

"She is spending Thanksgiving in Massachusetts with Eric and his family," said a source close to the couple, according to Us Weekly. "Eric is such an amazing dad. She completely trusts him and has all the confidence in the world with him as a dad. She loves Eric's family and is really excited to bring both kids back east and spend Thanksgiving with them."

Already, Simpson and her NFL star fiancé have been spotted enjoying local eateries such as Zebra's Bistro and Wine Bar in Medfield, Mass.

"Jessica and her husband looked really happy and sweet together," an onlooker told Us Weekly. "They just talked to each other and looked like they were having a nice dinner. The chef came out and spoke with them after the meal was done and they were really nice to everyone."

Meanwhile, the pair have not yet tied the knot, but were photographed in Capri scouting wedding venues. Simpson reportedly has her heart set on marrying Johnson in Italy in May 2014, according to E! News.

The couple are parents to two children, a daughter, Maxwell Drew, and a son, Ace Knute, born just five months ago.

Just last week, the happy blonde family of four made waves with a public appearance on the red carpet in Dallas, Texas where they posed for a portrait.

When she is not promoting her fashion lines, Simpson is a Weight Watchers ambassador. The singer recently shared a photo from her new weight loss campaign via Twitter.

"Couldn't stop smiling on set for my new @weightwatchers campaign today. #happy," she wrote.
