Matthew Fox Accused by Dominic Monaghan of Beating Women

Matthew Fox has been accused of beating women from the same person he used to work with on ABC's television series "Lost."

In an unprovoked and unwarranted rant, Dominic Monaghan, who played Charlie on the television series, was responding to a fan on Twitter named "becca" who wanted the actor to join the very popular micro-blogging site.

Monaghan, in response to her request to convince Fox to get an official Twitter account, very directly accused Fox of physically abusing women.

"He beats women.not isolated incidents.often.not interested," Monaghan posted to his Twitter account.

The fan continued to inquire as to why he was so against Fox joining Twitter and insisted that the two shared good times in the past. She continued to try and convince Monaghan to get Fox to join.

"I KNOW IT WAS WRONG BUT WHAT?! WHAT ABOUT ALL THOSE GOOD TIMES YOU HAD TOGETHER?!" becca wrote.

Monaghan then responded to the post insisting that he had firsthand knowledge of several of these incidents.

"An accusation is when you claim someone did something wrong.i know.but hey little fan girl maybe want to get slapped," Monaghan posted on his Twitter account.

The statements are not totally abstract as Fox has been accused of hitting a woman before.

In 2011, Fox was involved in a lawsuit brought on from an Ohio bus driver who claimed he physically assaulted her.

Heather Bormann, the bus driver, accused Fox of hitting her in the breast and groin after she denied him entry on a chartered party bus.

Bormann stated the she refused to let Fox onto the bus because he was already too intoxicated to board, but when he refused to leave the bus is when Bormann claimed Fox struck her.

"He just kept staring at me with his mouth wide open and not saying anything. I told him, 'You have to leave buddy. You are trespassing on my bus,'" Bormann told TMZ.

Bormann said she "took one hand to his jaw and he was spitting blood. He stumbled backwards."

"This was my self-defense," Bormann said adding, "this was the only way I could protect myself … from a man beating up on a woman."
