William Shatner Set For Live 'Hot In Cleveland'
William Shatner is confirmed to appear on the upcoming season premiere of "Hot in Cleveland," which will air live later this month on TV Land.
The hit series often sees guest stars, but Shatner's entrance promises a positive reception. The 82-year-old actor is best known for his role as Captain James T. Kirk on the iconic "Star Trek."
"At long, long last, I am working with someone older than me," Shatner joked in a statement, according to TV Guide.

"Hot in Cleveland" stars 91-year-old Betty White, among others.
Season four of the hit comedy is set to kick off on TV Land Wednesday, June 19 at 10 p.m. EST. The West Coast will get the taped version of the episode three hours later.
Furthermore, Brian Baumgartner of "The Office" will also be part of the season premiere, according to the Associated Press.
The episode will pick up where the last original episode ended-- with Joy, portrayed by Jane Leeves, discovering what Elka and Mamie, Betty White and Georgia Engel's characters, have been up to, said TV Land.
Meanwhile, "Hot in Cleveland" will not be Shatner's first time working with White. The actress attended Shatner's roast on Comedy Central in 2006. And Shatner has long joked that he and widowed White have a romance.
"Betty and I have been lovers for a while," the actor joked to Vanity Fair in 2010. "We're going to do a sex tape for the AARP."
As for appearing on live television for the "Hot in Cleveland" premiere, Shatner has had plenty of impromptu acting experience. The actor appeared in live television dramas throughout the 1950's and has hosted "Saturday Night Live."
The live episode will be taped in front of a live audience on stage 19 of CBS Studio Center in Studio City, California, according to Cleveland.com.
