Deandra Lee Hunt Intensifies as Multiple Sightings of Killer Emerge
The hunt for Deandra Lee, the man charged with killing two nine-year-old twins and their 73-year-old babysitter, has been focused on Selma and Dallas County, according to reports released Friday.
William Riley, Selma Police Chief, has reported Friday that authorities have received various tips from a number of people who say they saw Lee around the city of Selma. The fact that there have been numerous sightings of Lee around the city has been of particular interest to the police, and it is hoped now that the search can focus in on one area that Lee can be found quickly.
Authorities have also confirmed to reporters that a car belonging to one of the victims was found with its doors missing about 30 miles south of Selma.

Twins Jordan Dejerinett and his sister Taylor were found murdered Tuesday. Their bodies, as well as the body of 73-year-old Jack Mac Girdner, who was their babysitter at the time, were found in rural Lowndes County.
Police have confirmed that Girdner was a retired anesthesiologist and had previous babysat the children on a number of occasions prior to this.
Lee is an Alabama man who was previously acquitted in a double murder. He was out on bail on felony gun and robbery charges when the killings occurred earlier this week.
Authorities have said that they believe the killings happened on a dirt road where the bodies were found. All three victims had been shot, the Alabama Bureau of Investigation said Thursday.
It was unclear if Lee knew any of the victims or their families.
