'Rosewood' Episode 5 Spoilers and Recap: Things Get Steamy

In the upcoming episode of "Rosewood" entitled "Necrosis and New Beginnings," the official synopsis reads, "Rosewood and Villa try to make sure a murdered ex-con who's linked to a Little Haiti gang has not died in vain. Meanwhile, Villa is troubled by her dreams; and Rosewood's relationship with Kat takes a surprising turn."

In a promo for the episode, it seems that things will get hot for Rosewood since he is seen in a very steamy scene with a woman that might be his girlfriend Kat or his partner Villa.

In the previous episode, it began with the son of a prominent family named Stephen Stavros who was drunk and belligerent on the night that he died. No one in the police department wanted this case since no one wanted to deal with Stavros patriarch. So the chief had Rosewood do the autopsy and he assigned Villa to oversee the case.

Rosewood found something strange when he did his autopsy. He discovered that Stavros did not die from an overdose but rather from a lethal combination of sulfur and acupuncture treatments.

Stavros had been telling people that Doctor Foster was no longer his doctor, but when Villa interviewed him, he told her that Stavros was indeed his patient during her initial interview. This prompted Villa to look into their relationship and she discovered that Stavros had been looking for a lawyer in order to help him with his lawsuit against Foster.

Villa was convinced that Foster was her guy. However, she was not able to look into him because the Stavros patriarch had pulled the plug on the investigation. And she almost lost her job.

Villa and Rosewood discovered another victim who had died before filling a malpractice suit against Foster. Foster almost got away with it, but Rosewood was smart. Rosewood almost got himself killed in order to catch Foster in the act.

Villa gave her captain all the credit for her hard work, while she and Rosewood formed a more trusting relationship with each other.

"Rosewood" airs every Wednesday.
