Sofia Vergara 'Rude' and 'Condescending' Says Teresa Giudice

The "Real Housewives of New Jersey" star Teresa Giudice apparently cannot stand Sofia Vergara. At the Q&A panel session at The Cabaret Theatre, she made her feelings quite clear.

Giudice revealed that she came to despise the award-winning actress when her publicist asked her to pose with Vergara for a photo. Just when their photo was about to be taken, Vergara stepped right in front of he. In that moment, she said she felt so angry with herself because she wanted to tell the actress she did not want a photo with her but could not.

The reality star even claims to have heard Vergara ask her publicist, "Why are you making me take a picture with that woman?"

Apart from Giudice's account of that incident, she made some xenophobic comments about the Columbian actress. The housewife said that she expected Vergara to be nice knowing that she is only an immigrant, which was in many ways ironic. And for that, she is getting schooled by social media.

Giudice, who is Italian, whose husband is an immigrant, is definitely many things but the public seems to agree that "nice" is not one of them. Social media has flooded her with images of all kinds of behavior that cannot seem to fit the category of polite, including public outbursts of anger such as flipping tables. Clips from the "Real Housewives of New Jersey," highlighting the kind of behavior she displays, are being thrown at her.

Speaking to US Weekly about the encounter, she said, "I was disappointed and hurt in the way she treated me...I found it to be very rude and condescending given the fact that I had just met her, and I wasn't the one asking for the photo."

Giudice continued, "I figured that because we both shared very humble upbringings with families that emigrated to this country, she would have had more humility."
